Barbara's Citizenship!

Aim

We are aiming to raise £1630 to help Barbara raise the funds necessary to achieve her British citizenship

Barbara Ntumy is one of the most compassionate and kindest leftist organisers that we have in the UK. Barbara has dedicated her entire adult life to actively helping people in vulnerable communities, on top of being an incredible friend and confidant.

Barbara currently has Ghanian citizenship, and despite living in the UK for the majority of her life has had her citizenship dangled by this huge price tag and waiting times. Barbara would have attained her citizenship long ago, as money was given to her mother with the sole purpose of paying for the citizenship. However, her mother has had a long history of emotional and financial abuse and unfortunately used the funds for herself.

I have opened this fundraiser as a means to alleviate any financial hardship that will result if Barbara had to pay herself alone and give the opportunity to her friends and strangers who are inspired by Barbara to contribute and help out where they may.
