We’re ready to open Bar Chord! Your support will help us make a beautiful space for great wine, lovely beer, good music and friendly faces.
I’m Matthew and I’m delighted to be bringing Bar Chord to Old Coulsdon. I’ve always loved great wine and the way it brings people together, and when the opportunity came up to create a space where locals could relax, enjoy artisan wines, craft beers, small plates, vinyl and live music, I knew I had to make it happen.
Bar Chord is my vision for a place that feels warm, welcoming and personal – a place where familiar faces meet new friends and where every glass is chosen with care. We’ll be offering curated local and international wines, real ales, British cheeses, small plates and regular events, from open mic nights to tastings.
We’re open and we have some fantastic wines and beers lined up. Now I just need your help to make sure the little things – the lighting, décor, fixtures, glassware and finishing touches – are just as special as the drinks we’ll be sharing.
