To enable continued education, mental health and well-being for disadvantaged BAME children who have missed out on education in the pandemic
I am concerned that disadvantaged BAME children who had no access to computers at home during the Pandemic, were unable to access schools or teachers. This caused them to fall behind with their learning and education. They were left feeling isolated and so at great risk of mental ill health.
A number of children have now received laptops but more are needed. Dedicated teachers are offering "Top-up School" at weekends and holidays for which more children need access to a computer. We want to provide laptops so the children can learn.
This Fund has been set up to assist this group of children.
