We're still collecting donations
On the 22nd May 2020 we'd raised £527 with 13 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Feeling the pinch this year; relying on spring and summer events to keep going but the current situation has now made that impossible.

The extra will let me get professional prints made and also let me look in to new, eco-friendly packaging options for getting my work in shops (when they open again).
Kerry grew up on the outskirts of London, but was always drawn to the countryside. She has moved all over the country and (having a particular fondness for the Westcountry) now lives in Weston-super-mare.
Her two main passions since childhood have been art and nature. She's spent countless hours searching for wildlife and exploring different zoos and farms with a sketchbook in hand. Fascinated by what makes animals tick, Kerry completed a degree in Animal Behaviour. She was lucky enough to have several jobs working with animals, but never lost her interest in art. Now she shares that passion with others, both online and at a range of shows and fairs; recently getting a prize at the Somerset County Show.
Her work at Bamboo Bandit Art mostly depicts nature, with a particular focus on wildlife. She works in a variety of media and styles; her favourites being pencils, ink and acrylic paints. Kerry also loves creating pet portraits in a wide range of styles. As a pet owner she knows how special they are and how important it is to really capture a pet's personality.
Kerry is currently owned by a Staffy named Mikey. He was adopted from the Blue Cross and he keeps her from getting bored. He makes her laugh every day and in return he insists he is provided with a sufficient store of treats and toys.
I believe everyone should be able to enjoy art in their homes so I work hard to keep my pieces affordable. Our pets deserve pride of place, but as much as we love them we can't all afford a giant oil painting to sit above the fireplace in our mansion!
This year started with me feeling the pinch. I was relying on attending fairs, shows and events throughout the spring and summer to boost trade and do some important marketing.
Now with the current pandemic, like many other small businesses I am really going to struggle to keep going. With events being cancelled I can't sell my work or do any marketing in person and as most other people are starting to worry about their budgets too, my online sales have been down.
I'm proud of how far I've managed to come in the last couple of years. I've been through a lot and being able to do art has really helped me through. I've managed to get started mostly by myself and I genuinely hate asking for any kind of help.
I have a whole stack of new ideas I'd love to create; a long list of dog breeds and particular species I've been asked for. There's also new wooden products I'd like to make (boxes, clocks, homeware and decorations). I really want to be able to get some high quality prints and new cards made.
In order to do any of this I will need some new materials as well as funds.
I will be letting supporters have first dibs on any new products before they go in my shop (and also at reduced prices). I will also be asking you for opinions and requests.
Your support genuinely means so much to me. Just knowing there are people out there who believe I can do it helps me keep working. Thanks!
