Raising funds to pay for a greener and more efficient combi-boiler at the Community Hall at Balwest Methodist Church.
LAST FEW DAYS.
We are a small but dedicated group who attend and run the Chapel at Balwest. Our oil boiler in the hall has broken down so, rather than attempt to repair it, we've decided to replace it with a greener, far more efficient model.
This will cost over £5000 in total. UPDATE 4th NOV: So far we have raised £2510 in addition to our Crowdfunder balance. This means our target has been reduced to £2220!! Please help. Even a small donation makes a difference. Thank you x
We have various groups that hire the hall together with our monthly coffee mornings (Inc bacon and sausage rolls!). We all need heating and hot water.
We have recently been awarded Bronze award Eco-Church status by à la Rocha UK, one of only 4 in our Methodist circuit of 14 churches. I say that to emphasise how important green issues are to our congregation.
Any donations are truly welcomed and received with gratitude. Should we be fortunate enough to raise more than we require for the boiler, then we also require new doors as well as internal redecoration.
Thank you for your interest. Please tell your friends!
