To raise much needed funds for our historic Treble winning Feile Teams! ☘️
Who are we?Ballinderry Shamrocks GAC was formed in 1926 - next year will see us celebrate our Centenary Year. A massive milestone for our wee Club!
We organise and compete in Gaelic games - namely football, Ladies Football and Camogie. We are a totally inclusive club and welcome members regardless of age, ability, gender or background. Our aim is to promote the overall health, fitness and wellbeing of our members whilst providing a positive social outlet. Sometimes we like to win trophies too!
We are in a very privileged position of having a strong core of Volunteers who drive the club from behind the scenes. Their commitment and dedication to coaching, fundraising and levelling the playing field, is testament to their love of sport and pride in our club.

In the space of 6 weeks, our amazing U15 athletes across all 3 codes (Camogie, LGFA & Football) have created history and achieved an amazing Feile "A" Treble. This is a monumental accomplishment by these young girls & boys who will now go on to represent the club in their respective All-Ireland Series on the 21st and 28th June.
This project is a completely new and additional initiative, separate from the day to day running of our Club. We have less than 6 weeks to raise funds to cater for over 70 players, ranging from 11-15 years old.
We hope by Crowdfunding that we can extend the reach for our Fundraising Campaign. With 3 teams to cater for - means 3 times the expenses! Although this is a very privileged position that we find ourselves in; it is also one that requires a lot of planning and organising to ensure the needs of all players are met and to allow them the best opportunity to compete on the highest stage of their competition. We do not want to have to be restrictive of numbers nor do we want to add any undue stress or burden onto families, who may have children competing across all 3 codes. We want this to be the most unforgettable underage experience for these girls & boys.
Two out of three winning teams are females! And considering that LGFA was only introduced to the club 3 years ago; it is phenomenal the achievements of these young girls to date- the majority of whom are dual players. It is raising the bar and raising the profile of women in sports. They are inspiring all the young females who wear the Ballinderry Shamrocks Jersey!
The boys have also ended a 19 year Feile "A" famine with the addition of their recent title. They have shown incredible determination and pride and deserve the best opportunity for All-Ireland Glory on the 28th June.
This is no mean feat considering we are a small rural club located on the shores of Lough Neagh where fluctuating playing numbers can have a huge effect in any given year.
