We want to keep our premises warm and welcoming for everyone who lives in Baildon.
As a Church, Community Hub, and Café we provide a warm space for people to relax and meet friends because home heating costs have risen so much. Our Wesleys Café is open as a warm space from 10.00-15.00 every weekday and on Saturdays from 9.00-12.00.

Those using our warm space are welcome to have free mugs of tea; free soup and a roll at lunchtime, and families in need, can have a free, more substantial meal in school holidays. A Community Pantry and warm clothes rack are available for local residents to help themselves. Free wifi and charging points are available.
In addition, our premises are currently used on a weekly basis by 49 different church and community groups and activities, including Sunday services; activities for parents and toddlers; drama for disabled people; seated dance; exercise classes; choirs; discussion, youth activities, alcoholics anonymous, and much more.
We are struggling to meet our energy bills which have risen 6-fold since the same time last year!
Over 1000 people come to Wesleys each week. It matters greatly to all of them that our premises are kept warm and welcoming. With household budgets being stretched, we want to avoid raising our Café and room-hire charges; and to be able to continue to provide free services to those in food- or energy-poverty.

To pay our electricity and gas charges this winter, without us having to dig into other reserved funds or to reduce our opening hours or the heating of our premises. To continue to offer free drinks and food to those in need.
