Aim: Help us to develop our Perth Street site to help develop the community and to support local people through the cost of living crisis.
Bahja Initiative is a community group that has been supporting the community in the areas of:
- Education
- Poverty
- Physical Wellbeing
- Volunteering
Our work has currently taken place from our willows lane site and now with moving into a new site on Perth Street we are now looking to expand our services which will include the following services to the community:
- Create a learning hub to help benefit the local community and growing our trading service.
- Capacity to provide more food parcels to the community
- Bigger space to run our curry club
- Provide a welcoming place for all by having disabled access so no vulnerable person misses out on our services
The donation that you make will help us with the following to help achieve our goals:
- Creation of learning hub providing trading income to help us become more resilient and sustainable.
- Level our car park
- Ramp for disabled access
- 4 additional toilets
- Disabled Toilet
