Match Funding Appeal

Bahja Initiative have launched a crowdfunding appeal towards the running costs of the new building and to continue to improve and expand the services provided.

Bahja Initiative was launched in 2013 to provide educational, physical, social and spiritual support to the local community in Accrington. The projects that have been undertaken have thrived and have had an immense impact on hundreds of people who have participated and taken benefit from them. 

These projects have included tackling poverty through a food bank and weekly hot food meals through the Curry Club, Prophetic Sports including Archery, Horse Riding, Swimming and Wrestling along with other popular sports such as football and cricket, educational programmes for adults, Evening and Weekend Madrassas, Youth clubs, Mental Health projects have included Walking Clubs and Coffee Mornings along with many more special events on an annual basis.

Your donations will go much further than usual as every pound you donate will be 100% match funded by the National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund.
