Mitchell's Miracles charity was founded in memory of little Mitchell Huth who sadly lost his battle against Neuroblastoma, which is an extremely aggressive solid tumour cancer.
Mitchell’s Miracles was founded in 2013 with two intentions in mind.
● One: to raise awareness of childhood cancer Neuroblastoma in the UK
● Two: to support families (both emotionally and financially) with children having treatment of this condition.
When a child receives antibodies, they need to be hooked up to a pump and stay in hospital for up to a week. However, by having a small backpack, the pump (baby bottle sized) can fit inside allowing a child to have more freedom as opposed to pushing around a big stand. Having a backpack also means that a child can go home whilst the antibody is still being infused.
