We are aiming to raise funds to support our freelance contributors, expanding our platform of writers and artists and increase our output.

We're still collecting donations

On the 30th April 2024 we'd raised £5,711 with 149 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

 New stretch target

If we surpass our target we can afford more content and more freelance writers and artists. We can commission more investigative journalism, long form and photo-journalism, all of which has more cost attached to it.

We have a favour to ask.  Tens of thousands of people rely on Bella for independent journalism from Scotland with a critical edge.

We have no big-backers, remain ad-free and don’t hide behind a paywall.

We set our own agenda and provide analysis that’s free from commercial and political influence.

We are aiming to raise funds to support our freelance contributors, expanding our platform of writers and artists.

We will also pay for more secure hosting so that the website is defended against attacks and easy to access on all platforms.

Support us here to defend indy media for the future. Thank you.
