Providing food for the children of Rimoi Primary School, Kenya

No child should sit at school hungry. 

Rimoi Primary is Runners Heal's second school project, the first one being Songeto Primary School also located in Keiyo View, Kenya. 

My first visits have made me realize just how much impact food has on the children in the schools, as it's literally their only meal of the day. We have so far made the lives of 360 children much better as they now how food and a self sustain system - this time we would like to relieve a school in just as desperate situation. 

Here are the cost breakdowns of what we will buy with all donations on the next visit at the end of August ; 

 Breakfast Meal for 1 child - Porridge - £0,11

Lunch Meal for 1 child - Maize & Beans - €0,16

Entire School 1 Day - £43,20 ( 160 children )

Quite simply the more we raise, the more we buy - and 100% of all crowdfunding will be spent on this food - providing the children a real good kick start to the new school term.
