To create a beautiful and peaceful garden where people can go to remember and grieve babies lost prior to 24 weeks of pregnancy.
A small, passionate charity with a dream
Amber Crisis Pregnancy Care is a growing charity based in the London Borough of Bromley. We offer free, confidential counselling support for a range of pregnancy-related situations to people struggling to cope. We have had a dream for many years to create a baby memorial garden for those grieving babies lost before 24 weeks of pregnancy. So many of the people we support need a place to focus their grief and remembrance, and we know from the many conversations about this project that there are lots of others out there who would appreciate this place.

A calm, peaceful garden with meaning
Our vision is to create a welcoming and reflective space for those visiting, so they can grieve the loss of their baby, for whatever reason, whether it be miscarriage, termination, failed IVF or even the loss of the dream of parenthood. The project has been shaped by input from a number of people who have lost babies and includes:

A special partnership with big plans
We are working in partnership with idverde and with the support of the London Borough of Bromley to create the first garden of its kind in the Borough. We have landowner permission to create a beautiful, natural garden in a secluded, dedicated location in Chislehurst Cemetery.

Julia Lau, from the newly revived Friends of Chislehurst Cemetery, said, “We are so pleased that Chislehurst Cemetery will benefit from this unique memorial garden, for families and individuals to remember and grieve their loss - a place open to all local parents and families.”
A big thank you
We are really grateful to our donors who have helped us reach the half way mark of our fundraising:
The London Borough of Bromley (Platinum Jubilee Donation)
The Chislehurst Society
Tesco
And THANK YOU to you for reading our Crowdfunder page. We are so excited to achieve our target with your help and make our garden dream a beautiful reality.
