Ayr Boxing Club let's beat Covid

Aim

The aim of our project is to ensure that Ayr Boxing Club survives this pandemic. The club has been around since 1974 in one form or another

Ayr Boxing Club has been around in one form or another since 1974 providing expert boxing coaching for children from the age of 5 years old up to adults including professional boxers.  Although currently we have no professionals we do cater for around 35-40 youngsters under the age of 18 and around 30 adults.  We have over the years had a number of Western District & Scottish Champions, provided several Internationalists.  We currently have three volunteer qualified boxing coaches coaches but due to Covid-19 we are unable to to train indoors or outdoors in group sessions.  It is extremely frustrating that we can only do 1-2-1 sessions outdoors but without any pad work.  This scenario is totally wrecking the boxing community and makes it extremely difficult if not impossible to raise funds to keep the club going.  Our normal sources of income have all but dried up so it would be absolutely fabulous if we could raise funds through "Crowdfunding" 

This project closed unsuccessfully on 25th March 2021
