Aim
To fund workshops in Lebanon early 2022
Thanks to so many generous donations, we felt that we could earn enough to do another two workshops, in addition to those we had already planned and so the target has been extended to £6,000.
However, the situation in Lebanon has deteriorated since the Crowdfunding was set up and War Child, which supported the first round of workshops enormously is no longer able to do so to the same extent. This means that in addition to the expected expenditure (facilitator accommodation, food, etc.), we no longer have access to the venue provided by War Child last time. This could cost us well over £3000 extra for the four workshops – we are investigating the possibilities of a reasonably priced venue at the moment.
