Salisbury Area Young Musicians has given me a place to have fun, make friends and enjoy fantastic music making. It is a place where I was welcomed when I was going through some really difficult times.
I think it is very important to support SAYM in this really challenging time, so on Saturday 18th July, together with my mum, I am going to attempt to run the whole of the Avon Valley Path, from Salisbury Cathedral to Christchurch. A total of 34 miles.
We have some lovely friends, who will at a social distance, be joining and supporting us on the various legs of this journey!
Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
Thank you,
Cameron
About SAYM
For over 30 years SAYM has provided a great way for young people to make music together in a friendly environment, with the emphasis on fun as much as achievement.
Making music can play an important role in the well-being of children and young people. SAYM’s weekly ensemble activities encourage them to continue their musical journey throughout their school life and on into adulthood. Your contribution will help continue to provide affordable music making opportunities for the children and young people of Salisbury. www.saym.org.uk
