Join our Inclusivity Revolution!

We are WilderMe CIC, an inclusive not-for-profit based at Maker Heights in SE Cornwall. We’re fundraising for major upgrades to our Autism Friendly Cornish glamping site, so that more people—especially those with lower mobility—can experience the restorative power of nature. Our wellbeing and nature retreats provide autistic adults and families with the chance to reconnect, recharge and build confidence. But right now, some people are unable to join us simply because our facilities aren’t accessible enough.

We have the chance to secure arguably the best geodomes in the world at 50% off RRP, along with a new accessible compost toilet, making WilderMes site fully inclusive for people with limited mobility—and sustainable for the next 15+ years.

✨ We’ve already secured 70% of our £59,500 target! 💪

With your support, we can raise the 30% remainder to:

  • Upgrade our Geodesic domes and composting toilets to make them fully accessible to all.
  • Ensure that people with lower mobility can enjoy our retreats alongside everyone else.
  • Improve our land management to boost biodiversity, tackle invasive species, and create space for people to connect with nature and wildlife.

We follow the 5 Ways to Wellbeing:

Being immersed in nature is scientifically proven to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and bring deep restoration. We believe everyone deserves that opportunity—and with your help, we can make it happen.

Who is WilderMe CIC?

WilderMe CIC is a not-for-profit offering something truly special: the chance for autistic adults and families to enjoy an affordable, part- or fully-funded retreat in a calm, nature-rich setting that transforms lives.

Our beneficiaries stay in our beautiful glamping site overlooking the stunning Cawsand Bay, where they take part in a carefully designed program of creative, adventurous, and holistic activities. These nature-connecting experiences aren’t just fun—they are proven to reduce anxiety, boost wellbeing, build confidence, and nurture vital social and life skills.

Beyond the retreat itself, participants take away practical wellbeing tools and a renewed sense of clarity and confidence, empowering not just autistic individuals, but also their families and support networks. The ripple effect of these retreats can create real, lasting change in everyday life.

✨ With your support, we can open up this unique opportunity to even more people who need it most. Together, we can build a stronger, happier, and more connected autistic community.

National Autistic Society 2020: “In our Mental Health Survey we found that: 94% of autistic adults experienced anxiety; almost six in ten said this affected their ability to get on with life; almost two in three have a clinical diagnosis of anxiety; 83% experienced depression; eight times as many autistic people report feeling often or always lonely compared to the general population…."

Outside our autism work we offer retreats that help fund our supported places, glamping breaks, yoga and wellness retreats, corporate offsite creative and wellbeing retreats, song writing and creative writing camps.. Giving even more people the opportunity to immerse themselves in the awe and wonder of  Cornwall’s magical Forgotten Corner.
