Absolutely awful reality check today....

We are devastated to confirm that following a harsh winter and extremely rare heat wave in May coupled a lack of use that the roof which covers the rec Inn (clubhouse) has finally secomed to 22 years of old age and collapsed.. Its heartbreaking to feel that all the hardwork of fundraising for other means for this to happen after we have already explored every avenue to keep the club alive.

This will be a full replacement project of the existing cabins which will no doubt take us into several thousands of pounds needed.. We have always tried our best to support our own projects and developments but without any form of income due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are faced with the reality of closure if we can't replace our structure.. 

Our senior teams are gearing up to complete the 776 mile round trip from Athersley to Amsterdam (virtually) by each running or cycling 15.6 miles each on the 25th of July.. 

This project successfully funded on 6th August 2020
