Can you help us refurbish the clubhouse so that all of our local community can benefit?
What is the need for your project in the community? How will your project improve local life?
it is hoped the local community will make more use of the club as the improvements will provide an excellent facility for various different functions and events and will be available every day with plenty of convenient free parking. The main club room has a bar and dance floor which can cater for functions of up to 120 people, including Weddings, Birthdays, Seminars, Conferences and Functions, Buffets/Dinners, Discos/Entertainment, Food and drink can be provided.
What support do you have from the local community for your project?
The club has long standing support from the local community, they are extremely supportive of the massive impact the football club has on the local community, we are aiming to deliver demonstrable benefits for the entire community.
Who will benefit from your project?
The organisation is a voluntary Sports Club in Wirral with senior and junior members. The club are looking to upgrade the current clubhouse to make it a more welcoming environment for the local community so it can be used for more community activities.

The project will refurbish the current building, bringing it back into use as an inclusive, vibrant community centre that will be available to all. The refurbishment will open up the clubhouse as a venue for meetings, new activities, a drop-in venue, and somewhere for small and local businesses to use.

The football club would use the £5,000 grant to make improvements to their building for community use. The members of the Club are looking to raise funds to refurbish and redecorate the tired clubhouse bar. It has served us very well but after nearly 20 years, new carpets, furnishings, windows and the bar itself all require renewing. We have costs for the following areas: Wooden Floor £2,000 Carpet £1,680 Double Glazed windows £1,200 Redecorating £800 Furnishings £4,000 Total costs £9,680
