Aim

Next year, residents across Ashford will have the chance to choose who represents them on Ashford Borough Council. And we want to win

.

Ashford Greens have already shown what Green councillors can achieve. We now have 12 Green councillors across 10 wards, working hard every day to represent their communities and make a difference locally.

But our work doesn't stop in the council chamber.

We're out in our communities all year round — supporting local environmental projects, litter-picking, Pride Ashford, wildlife and hedgehog rescue, community campaigns and residents with local issues.

We're proud to be part of the communities we represent, and we want to build on that work by electing even more Green councillors next year.

But winning elections takes more than good ideas.

It takes people knocking on doors, talking to residents and making sure our message reaches every corner of the wards we're fighting to win.

It means leaflets through letterboxes, posters in windows, campaign boards, newsletters, social media, targeted communications and teams of volunteers out talking to local people.

And that's where you can help.

What could your donation do?

£5 could help us print campaign materials and get our message in front of more local residents.

£25 could help keep our brilliant activists fuelled with food and drinks on an action day. Because campaigning is hungry work!

£50 could buy around 10 poster boards, helping our candidates become familiar faces across their wards.

£100 could pay for around 1,000 campaign leaflets, putting our Green message through local letterboxes.

£250 could help fund a major leaflet drop, campaign materials and the costs of getting our volunteers out talking to residents.

£500 could make a significant contribution towards a whole campaign push — helping us reach thousands of voters with our candidates, our ideas and our vision for Ashford.

And if we can raise enough, we could go even further.

With enough support, we could recruit a part-time campaign organiser to coordinate our volunteers, organise action days, keep our campaign moving and help take Ashford Greens to the next level.

That could make a huge difference to our ability to win more seats next year.

We are people-powered.

We aren't funded by billionaires or big corporations. We're not beholden to them either.

Our campaigns are funded by our members, our supporters and people in our communities who believe that politics can be different.
