We aim to end youth unemployment in South Yorkshire.
The UK statistics for 16-24 year olds who are not in employment, education or training are worrying, especially in South Yorkshire where it could be as high as 20%!
At Ascend we believe in the potential of every young adult. We contend for their future by connecting them into supportive communities, standing with them through life’s challenges, and equipping them with the tools, skills, and confidence to thrive in work.
Our vision is to see restored lives and communities through young adults finding work and purpose.
We do this by providing training, 1-1 mentoring and work experience placements to young adults on our program.
By supporting our campaign we can increase our reach beyond Sheffield and impact more young adults lives.
Together with Customer Contact Panel (CCP), we are taking on the challenge of 10x10km in 10 days. Steve and Harry running and Neville and Chris rowing.
