Aim

We at OHCC are raising money to boost the charities work which supports the community, by making a difference and creating social inclusion.

Opportunities Highlighting Compassionate Change is a charitable organisation that operates to support the disadvantage of the community by motivating those who are experiencing hardship, food poverty, homelessness and seeking education/training to regain mental control over their lives, which strengthens them towards positive well-being. OHCC is advocate for the vulnerable and homeless, due to the increase in homelessness and food poverty, the charity operates robustly to further the charitable cause and support the people of the community. 

At OHCC, we believe it falls on the willingness and helpful nature of human beings to help the vulnerable of the community. OHCC is not just about feeding people; it's about sparking a conversation, giving warmth and understanding by furthering our support by understanding their needs.

Who We Are: OHCC Foundation is a grassroots community self-development and food-bank organisation for the vulnerable. We aim to work with local authorities to assist in breaking down the barriers of poverty, ending hunger and giving the mental tools people need to empower their lives.

OHCC stands for Opportunities, Highlighting, Compassionate, Change. OHCC projects are designed, around empowering the vulnerable through various workshops, foodbanks and rehabilitating them into mainstream society. 

Mission Statement: Working with vulnerable people in order to give opportunities, to bring about social change to their lives.

Purpose:  The purpose of this project is to provide the homeless and disadvantage with a warm refreshing meal and the skills they need to regain control over their lives through structured rehabilitation program from partnerships and ourselves.       

 Benefits of our Purpose: The public benefits from OHCC by, us supporting people to strengthen their mental well-being, preparing them for employment, through our workshop sessions and working alongside the local Job Centers. Our food-bank program will not just be about feeding the disadvantage; OHCC will extend our service from feeding the disadvantage to support these individuals into seeking accommodations for these individuals who are rough sleepers.

OHCC will also benefit the public by raising awareness and educating communities, local schools and youth centers, to teach and show them how they can assist in supporting the disadvantage.

OHCC deems it necessary to educate the public on homeless people and rough sleepers, in order to decrease the level of violent attacks and abuse against these individuals. It is known that some 8 in 10 rough sleepers have experienced violence, abuse or anti-social behaviour while living on the streets often from members of the public. OHCC believes this is due to a lack of compassionate understanding towards these people. Our educational workshops will decrease these kinds of antisocial behaviour towards rough sleepers.
