Help improve Hanger Farm Arts Centre and enable people with learning disabilities to build confidence through the performing arts.
The problem
Hanger Farm Arts Centre is in need of renovation and accessible improvements to its seating and building, which hosts hundreds of events a year.
It also needs support for its popular learning disability community theatre groups.
Many people in these groups suffer with a lack of confidence and have few opportunities to truly express themselves.
They don’t have the chance to explore their creativity, develop relationships and feel pride in showing off their skills.

The solution
You can help fund a range of improvements to Hanger Farm to ensure it can continue to provide a fantastic night of entertainment for its loyal audience.
You will also be helping people who have a real passion for the theatre or performing arts and would love to work in the sector, but find their opportunities are few and far between.
Involvement in the arts can have a transformative effect on people with learning disabilities, but too often they lack the opportunities and support they need.
We will help change this by supporting accessible changes at Hanger Farm Arts Centre and its popular learning disability theatre groups.

What will impact of this project be?
Accessible improvements to Hanger Farm, to bring the arts to everyone.
More people with learning disabilities attending community theatre sessions.
Additional opportunities for people with learning disabilities to build backstage skills and gain work experience in a theatre environment.
