1) Post work on your instagram page with #artistsforuyghurs and tag @artists_for_uyghurs

2) Copy this sentence into the caption: 

I am selling this work to raise funds for the @UyghurTribunal - a People's Tribunal investigating China’s treatment of Uyghurs and other Muslims. I pledge to give all profits to the Tribunal. I encourage other artists to do the same.

3) Give any profits to this fundraising page.

Who are the Uyghurs?

A mainly Turkic Muslim minority living mostly in the Northwest of China. Their population is estimated at around 12 million.

There is widespread evidence that the Chinese state has been committing a genocide against the Uyghurs and other Muslims. The state is accused of crimes such as mass rape, forced organ harvesting, torture, mass incarceration and slave labour.

What is the Uyghur Tribunal?

The Uyghur Tribunal has been set up to investigate these allegations and create a body of evidence that could be used to pressure states, international organisations, powerful individuals and companies to change how they interact with the Chinese state. 

But the Tribunal needs your support.
