About the project

First I want to tell you about where this project came from - A year ago I found myself out of work and unable to afford my rent, bills or even to buy food, I was constantly falling in and out of zero hour contracts doing jobs that gave me no satisfaction, So while trying to find a way out i came accross a old railway sleeper in my back garden and turned it into a garden bench with the aim of selling it on Gumtree for £30 to buy a food shop. Within a few hours of advertising the bench it sold, so i decided to make another one and another one and every time i made something new they kept selling, my passion is not about money at all, it is about living my life doing what i love, building, working with my hands and learning something new every day and i belive this can grow into a valuable community based business that can help people achive there goals.

We are now on facebook with a relativly small but solid following, we offer quality hand made bespoke furniture at fair prices, we calculate wage per hour with cost of materials and come to our prices in a fair and reasonable way. With this equation we have managed to provide a very affordable service for quality solid wood furniture whilst teaching people invaluable skills that will secure a solid future built on passion and drive to follow your dreams through all odds.

If we manage to raise the £1000 goal we plan to use the money to rent a workshop and invite people to classes to learn and grow with us!

We plan to grow this business into a platform for secure jobs and secure futures.
