BUY ART FOR UKRAINE! All money raised from artwork sales goes to Red Cross Ukraine Appeal & to make care packages to Ukrainian civilians.
by Jocelyn McGregor in Nottingham, United Kingdom
The more artworks you buy, the more money we raise for the Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Fund AND the more supplies we can gather for Nova Poshta to deliver. In short, the bigger the sum the greater the impact!
We are a group of artists that met in 2019 and 2020 as part of the British Council's SWAP UK/Ukraine Residency Programme. During our residencies in Ukraine we had the opportunity to visit several cities and had the pleasure of meeting and working with many very talented and hospitable people from all sectors, from creative to academic. The last 10 days we have been watching with fear as our friends and colleagues have shared their horrific struggles, we couldn't not act! We put our heads together and decided to raise money by selling affordable artwork by ourselves and other artists from our networks who were keen to take part.
This fundraiser is our way of showing collective solidarity and condemnation of violence against civilians. ALL of the money raised from each and every artwork will go towards much needed medical support and supplies, and P&P is included is the price.
We will split ALL the money we raise between The Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and creating care parcels to be sent by Nova Poshta. We chose the Red Cross because the UK government have pledged to double all money raised. And Nova Poshta are the Ukrainian postal service who are currently couriering supplies into the war zone for no charge. We will be looking to purchase medical supplies on advice from our friends in Ukraine.
We would like to thank all the amazing artists that have donated their artwork and time to supporting this action:
Chris Alton, Manca Bajec, BridA, Georgia Clemson, Coleman & Hodges, Emma Cousin, Marisa Culatto, Mark Essen, Alishia Farnan, Darek Fortas, The Growing, Andy Holden, Joey Holder, Perce Jerrom, Archie Leigh-Jones, Helmut Lemke, Linda Mallett, Sara Marinangeli, Jocelyn McGregor, Vladimir Miladinović, Hollie Miller, Leeming & Paterson, Loreal Prystaj, Kerry Morrison, Ro Robertson, Leomi Sadler, Annie Shnapp, Tom Skipp, Denise Zygadlo.
And we extend our love and support to our all Ukrainian SWAP colleagues!

"Is the research of time and space in multiple layers of sound, image and apparently boring everyday situations. Layers that are usually completely mixed in videos can be red in this case individually. A new story is being built. Authors of the video are same time main characters of the video and doing so we have put ourselves in the same unstable and chaotic situation." Still image ( 2014 ) from video ( 2008 )
