Equipment fundraiser for the Arran Squash Club

Aim

Help to raise funds for the Isle of Arran Squash Club to buy racquets and other equipment!

Who are we?

We’re the Isle of Arran Squash Club, a small group of people playing and enjoying the sport. We don’t offer membership but instead make the club accessible and affordable for all.

We have recently secured funding to have a player become qualified as a coach. This will benefit many members of the community and introduce them to the sport. We would like to be able to offer equipment to use as well.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to afford their own racquet, we would love to be able to offer players club-owned high quality racquets free of charge! As we only charge to play, we are not for profit and instead keep enough in the pot to pay for court fees.

How we’ll spend the money raised

The club will buy two premium squash racquets, balls and a racquet bag. These will be made available to all players as well as our coach to use in lessons. If we hit the target, the difference will be used to cover the court fees to encourage more players to come along - women’s only nights, children, etc.
