MY STORY

Hi, I’m Kirsty Terry, a Functional Medicine Nutritionist and I specialise in digestive health. A few years ago, I founded Equilibrium Health with a simple idea: to help people achieve optimum health and vitality naturally, using the ancient arts of healing and a non-invasive, pain and drug-free approach.

WHAT IS MY WHY?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve noticed in my practice is, my clients are using a number of personal and skincare products that contain harmful or even toxic ingredients.  Many of the products we buy to take care of our skin, end up doing far more harm than good. In my line of work, I see the effects of toxins from harsh environmental factors along with personal skincare products as contributing to many of the modern-day skin complaints. The effects are not only uncomfortable for my clients, they can also be unsightly, and affect confidence and self-esteem.

The role of the skin in protecting the body against the dangers of the outside world cannot be overemphasized. It is one of the most important organs in our bodies and therefore, it deserves ultimate care. Having luscious, beautiful and healthy skin is attractive and a sign of greater health, and something every single one of us should desire. However, due to many environmental factors that are toxic to our skin on a daily basis coupled with harmful ingredients in use in the cosmetics industry, this is weakening the immune system within our skin and the signs of this are showing externally.

I've had the privilege to have worked with some of the world's leading-edge researchers, scientists and manufacturer's and it was a dream come true when I was asked if I would like to customise my own range of products.  My aim was to develop the perfect skincare solution that will not only provide the crucial nourishment the skin needs to thrive, but will also enhance its immune protection without any harmful side effects. Many months, courses, and tons of skincare products later, and I am so proud and excited to introduce; Armorvida Skincare.

ARMORVIDA

Armorvida is an innovative and luxurious brand of skincare products that combine high-quality nutrition for the skin with a unique proprietary nano protein blend. My research on this blend has shown that it is designed to encourage an appropriate immune response in order to improve the appearance of minor skin blemishes, giving a smoother and healthier-looking skin.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES

As of now the only major risk we are likely to face on this campaign is a delay in delivering the rewards for backers. Nevertheless, there is an amazing team of people at the local post office, who already do an amazing job on a daily basis supporting my existing business, and with the threat of local post office closures, it's a Win:Win, as an increase in business will help to secure our local post office services.   I have their assurance they will make sure the rewards get to our contributors as soon as possible.
