Hello and Welcome. Thank you for taking the time in checking out this Crowdfunder!

So for those that do not know and for those that want to know more, here's a little back story to why I've decided to shave my bonce! Many of you may know that my beautiful friend Lyndsay Knight was fighting a 2 year long battle with a pretty sh*tty breast cancer. Throughout her treatment, Lynds and her husband Karl (The Knights a.k.a Starry Knights) dedicated their time to raising money for various charities through their 13 journey! The significance of this is that at 13 weeks pregnant (with their beautiful boy Henry), Lynds found out she had breast cancer.

It has been a battle that Lynds fought with grace, vigour and always with a smile on her face. But, after a secondary diagnosis which put Lynds in the 'incurable' status, she eventually had enough and passed away peacefully on 21st November. The hole that has been left behind in so many hearts is incomprehensible and there's been an unfathomable amount of effort going into raising money including those by everyone @my13_challenge, so please check them out.

So here I am attempting my part..... Anything that means I might not have to run a marathon, I'm in! The plan was for Lynds to shave my head for me so we could be bald twins! But unfortunately that wasn't the case. So now instead, she is just going to laugh at me from above.

We discussed a few charities before she passed that we would like to include and they are as follows:

- Pilgrims Hospice Ashford

and

- Little Princess Trust

The donations will be split between the two amazing charities and the efforts happening over at my13 to support Karl and his family going through the unimaginable.

So, all you have to do is:

- Donate as little or as much as you can (every penny makes a difference);

I know this year has been tough for everyone, so every donation no matter how small is beyond appreciated and will make a massive difference to the charities and lives of everyone involved. Also who wouldn't want to see me get my head shaved....The festive season just got a lot more entertaining!
