🌪️ Emergency Appeal: Help Jamaica Recover from Hurricane Melissa

Hurricane Melissa has torn through Jamaica, leaving families homeless, communities destroyed, and hospitals under immense pressure. Lives have been lost, and thousands are struggling without food, clean water, or medical care.

The Jamaica Hospitals League of Friends (JHLOF) is urgently appealing for your support to help provide emergency relief and medical assistance to those affected by this devastating category 5 hurricane.

💔 The Situation

Entire communities have been displaced, with homes and hospitals severely damaged. Local healthcare facilities are struggling to cope as supplies run dangerously low. The people of Jamaica need urgent help to recover and rebuild.

Many have lost everything — but together, we can help them start again.

🏥 Our Mission

The Jamaica Hospitals League of Friends has supported hospitals and healthcare in Jamaica for over 30 years. In response to this crisis, we are working with our partners on the ground to:

- Help to deliver emergency food, water, and hygiene supplies

- Support local hospitals and clinics with medical equipment and essential medicines

- Provide temporary shelter and support for displaced families

- Assist with long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts
