Aphantasia

Aim

Aphantasia is a independently produced feature length film. A psychedelic murder mystery.

When six friends reunite for a night of levity in an uncertain world, the festivities soon turn to tragedy when the host of the party dies mysteriously and the remaining guests are spiked with LSD. The film follows the night through the eyes of each party goer as they experience wildly different acid trips and try to figure out what is going on.

 The film is a collaborative project between actors and artists all over the world. The premise has allowed for the opportunity to explore mixed media storytelling, using animation, puppetry, visual effects and a soundtrack made up of local artists and songs from upcoming musicians. The characters were created and written in collaboration with the actors. The cast themselves and extremely talented group of people coming into the film with different backgrounds.

Aphantasia is a completely independent production, we are looking for funding and contributions in order to finish the film. The film means a lot to all of us and could be a big opportunity for us to make something visually exciting, experimental and using our funding to explore an unique and original approach to film making as well as compensating all the artists for their work. 

We love this project and would be making it for free, but with your support we can really turn it into a stepping stone for bigger things, a showcase of the talent of this amazing cast and crew and launch a community of filmmakers in London to do the same. 

Ultimately this a film about love and community and our responsibilities to each other in an increasingly frustrating and challenging world. We to bring that same ethos to every step of the process. Thank you for your support and we are excited to continue making this film.
