Our aim is to regenerate our community through collaboration of song. The yawn is associated to stifling. The same muscles used for singing
The Great Big Yawn has been created to regenerate communities around the world through the re-education of the humble yawn from boredom, apathy and exhaustion to hope, creativity and possibility.
Yet the more we investigate the yawn, the more it appears to be connected to everything that is interesting. This makes us very curious to find out more......
Regenerating communities feel more important than ever right now as the world divides itself and rises in outburst of anger through generational atrocities as human beings and within our environments.
This lack of hope for our younger generations to move into has stagnated through the years into generational apathy, boredom of the same conversation, no action, and exaustion at trying to fit in or fix.
What if we can take the pressure off ourselves literally by tackling this problem head on, literally one tiny action at a time, through an innate action we all do and have over looked, under estimated ad under valued for far too long.
What if it can give us hope, creativity and possibility in the strangest, yet safest of ways, that takes our body along on the journey, as well as the mind.
As we know health and wellbeing has to start with ourselves. Bringing that mindful awareness directly to a point of reference we all automatically use yet have disregarded as unimportant reconnects us in ways, we are delightfully uncovering together, on this journey.
We wish to further this process through a song about the YAWN and educate people through the opening of the larynx (not surprisingly the same muscles used as the yawn).
This very safe topic allows us to come together through all languages in a safe way of self expression and community.
