I want to set up a reptile rescue.

 A recent article in my local newspaper has inspired me to push forward to create a sanctuary for animals. The article explained that 30 royal pythons were found dead in a abandon couch. Which was a real eye opener for me. I feel like this could of been avoided, if there was a local facility with the means to help, guide or even lighten the load a little. It sickens me to think it could of been avoided. I want to create a facility that can help educate people, take in animals that can no longer be taken care of, rehabilitate them and find them there forever homes.

I've worked with reptiles and a variety of different animals all my life. I've found that people’s lack of understanding of the pet they are purchasing is a big factor that or just poor advice given. People buying pets they think are cute at the time but underestimate the work involved in keeping them. 

I worked at a pet shop and it was astonishing, the sheer volume of people that would turn up to hand reptiles and other animals. It saddens me to watch animals be passed around, without the appropriate care before being moved on. I’m crowd funding in order to acquire more equipment, vivarium's ,food and just get myself started on making a difference in the wellbeing of animals. I want to be able to be the perfect stopping point  to these animals, To Rehabilitate them and  be the right stepping stone to getting them to there forever home. No matter the type of animal. From snakes to spiders to Amphibians. I want to get to a place where I can be the go to rescue for the pets people some times look over.
