Books were an important part of Andrew's life. Since turning his first pages as a wee boy, he didn't go a single day without a story.
We want to keep his name alive by helping other people enjoy books just as much as Andrew.
Andrew's Book Club is our way of doing this. We have split the project into three stages, which are as follows:
- Andrew's Online Stories: Giving anyone who knew Andrew, or would like to contribute to the cause, the opportunity to produce a storytelling video. They will be made available to watch or listen on the Andrew's Book Club website.
- Andrew's Book Club: Launching in the coming weeks is Andrew's Book Club. We are currently sourcing a library of books - focusing on the stories Andrew loved, but also gladly accepting any other books popular amongst people with special needs. People can join the club by becoming a member and every month they will have the opportunity to choose 10 new books, which will be delivered in a special box.
- Andrew's Book Bus: The final step of our plan, which will involve creating of a mobile book bus, which can visit individual people and areas according to demand. The bus will feature:

Jigsaws & Games
Pick from a wide selections of jigsaws, snap cards, iPads and similar - including the option to order a custom made set with your own photos on it.
Video centre
A mini cinema area for a small group (maximum of four). Can be used as part of the stationary experience or a way of travelling in style on special occasions.
Tea & coffee corner
Somewhere for the parents and carers to chill out while their children indulge in books and games . If you leave your tea unguarded at your own risk!
