Trans Disabled Couple Visa Costs

Aim

Andrew and Franklin need money to cover Visa costs to ensure Franklin can remain in the country.

Hi, my name is Erin. You may know me through various channels, but that isn't important right now. I'm raising money for my chosen family - my brothers, Andrew and Franklin. Please read on for their story.

In October 2025 Andrew and Franklin have to pay for the renewal of Franklin's visa so he can stay in the UK. The first part was paid for with savings and paychecks, but Andrew got made redundant in 2023. Now, Franklin is working, but this only just about covers their day-to-day living costs. Andrew is more disabled and not able to work, so neither savings nor paychecks are something they can use to make any savings to cover this fee. Please help if you can.

I am organising a fundraising stream to raise money for them, which will preview sections of the Stellar Firma live show happening in Brighton in November. I was keen to work with Stellar Firma because Andrew & Franklin have contributed so much to the fan base and community, and now we want to give back for all their efforts they have put in.

Andrew and Franklin's Story: 

Andrew (speccyferret) and Franklin (frankiecellist) met in the Stellar Firma fan discord server in Feb 2021. They started dating in May 2021 and met for the first time when Franklin visited the UK in December 2021. They proposed to each other in July 2022, and against the odds managed to move into a flat together in Wales in January 2023. They were married in March 2023, and the rest, they say, is history.

What would I know them from?

Franklin was active in the Stellar Firma TikTok cosplay community, which is how he found out about the discord server. 

Andrew arranged the Stellar Firma fan book, with input and organisational help from Franklin. You can find the book here, the physical copy purchase link here, and the video of Tim and Ben reacting to the book on stream here.

Andrew made Stellar Firma merch for Ben and Tim - namely, the David's Place bar blade, the Cosmic Lounge glass, the Minecraft Build Team badges and some stickers.

Andrew did market research for merch designs, a merch pitch to RQ and then put his designs up for free for other fans to use - you can find them here. 

Andrew is also a mod for the Do It Ourselves streams and server, and does the art for the new podcast G.O.B.L.I.N.S.

Goal Breakdown: 

£2303.00 still to raise to cover the renewal.

£697.00 (making the total up to £3000) to cover: 

Expenses for all those taking part in the live stream. This is just out-of-pocket expenses (producing the stream, travel, dogsitting, equipment usage) and not a wage to cover their time, skills, and labour, which they are generously donating for the cause.

Food for the day for the livestreamers.

Travel for Andrew and Franklin to attend the live stream in person. 

Production of limited edition badges for rewards tier.

A small subsistence to cover any emergency costs arising from the production or performance.

We are lucky to have been given access to a studio for free - we will not be releasing the location for privacy, but we would like to thank those who run the studio.
