We are raising funds for our Anam Alba Creative CIC performance of Auld Lang Sing at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe!
Help us Raise Funds to Bring Auld Lang Sing Back to the Fringe!
Bringing the words of auld favourites such as Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson, Mary Queen of Scots, Will Ogilvie and Thomas Campbell amongst others to life, we bring Auld Lang Sing to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2026.
A rip-roaring, toe-tapping journey through Scottish history, legend and folklore which knits the old and the new together in a production written by Siobhan Argyle in collaboration with Ryan Little, Steve Russell and Rachel Paul.
Why we Need your Help
Performing at the Fringe Festival can be expensive and we want to ensure we pay all of our young actors fairly, while also keeping the prices of our tickets accessible. This is a community performance and our goal is to enhance people's wellbeing through the creative arts, while giving young talented performers a fairly paid work opportunity.
At Anam Alba Creative, we believe that all individuals, families and communities deserve opportunities and sophistication in both. We are creating the space to build healthy relationships and community, learning through stories and the arts. Auld Lang Sing is one of many projects we deliver to support Scottish communities.
So far we have raised £1,500, and we need to raise a further £7,500 from our Crowdfunder and from ticket sales to cover our costs.
Reviews from Past Performances
Erin Heviken of edfringereview.com gave “credit to all involved including the performers, director and writer Siobhan Argyle. Their combined effort breathes new life into Scottish legends.” and gave a 5* review, with Natasha Leake from the same site saying “Their enthusiasm practically glows from the stage like a light in a dark room. And when actors enjoy a performance, the audience feel it. It’s infectious in the best way possible. You’ll probably have to stop yourself from standing up and dancing with them.”
We were also delighted to receive a sellout award from The Fringe for our Auld Lang Sing performances in 2023.
