Amy Carmichael was an incredible woman who's ministry to women and girls in Dohnavur India in the 1900s continues to save lives today. She setup the Dohnavur Fellowship to help rescue children from lives of exploitation and offering them a home, education, and care.
Hundreds of thousands of visitors will come to see Eternal Wall near Birmingham, UK every year. Surrounding the Eternal Wall are ten acres of landscaped gardens, part of which will feature our Heroes of Faith Woodland. Using the same technology as the 1 million bricks making up the monument, visitors can point their phones at any of the 164 trees and it will open up the story to commemorate individuals who have displayed unshakable faith, inspiring generations around the world. In this way, the stories of the Heroes of our Faith, many of them unsung heroes, will be told for generations to come.
The Eternal Wall, will be digitally mapped, essentially creating a digital copy of every brick, tree and bench. Through the Eternal Wall app, each commemorative tree will contain a short resume of the individual remembered and include a link to the associated organisation.
Help us remember Amy and her legacy together. The money raised will cover the cost of the tree, surrounding landscaping and the woodland upkeep.
