Artists Jock McFadyen (Edinburgh and London) and Stephen Skrynka (Glasgow) are together raising funds to buy an ex NHS fleet ambulance, fill it with critical medical supplies, and then send it to Ukraine where it is desperately needed on the front line. As the war continues, Ukraine’s medical system is under immense strain. Hospitals are overwhelmed, supplies depleted and many ambulances have been destroyed. These vehicles are vital for ferrying wounded soldiers and civilians from field stations to hospitals, often making the difference between life and death.

They have teamed up with Mighty Convoy which is a not-for-profit charitable organisation started in 2022 by 4 friends.

Mighty Convoy has partnered with ICMDA in the UK https://icmda.net/get-involved/relief-projects/convoyofhope/ and the Christian Medical Association Ukraine (CMAU) in Lviv, which is where the ambulance will be delivered.

Mighty Convoy is led by Simon Brake who volunteers his time and has no paid staff. Everyone involved is a volunteer, including all drivers, who not only volunteer their time but also pay for their own expenses and flights home.

So far, MC has made 14 convoys to Ukraine, and donated 61 Vehicles – mainly Ambulances and Pick Up Trucks, plus lots of aid.

We need to raise £7,000 to pay for the ambulance, fuel, insurance and passage. The aid we will take is donated.

Ukraine, right now, as you know, is in dire need of help....so please give generously so we can help.
