I started ALT.ST (Alternative Streetwear) 6 months ago, as an online company. The plan is to create awareness of mental health, through subtle designs in our clothing. For each range of clothing we create we will address different types of mental illnesses. For example  we recently worked on “Panic/Anxiety” and got a lot of attention. Our next project will be another form that affects someone’s day to day activity. Thus creating awareness. The business model includes donations to mental health foundations/charities, from our overall revenues, once we have a steady turn of revenue and become established.

I decided to create ALT.ST as a “creative” business. I was personally affected growing up. And decided I really wanted to help others who suffer, also to understand the other mental health issues of other people. The team im building surrounding the business also have similar  backgrounds and therefore can relate.. it also generates passion for the cause. The brand is full of creative and positive peoples, it’s proving to be a very exciting project, which can make a huge difference with the right elevation!
