At the last minute a challenge has come up to complete the treacherous hike along the Crib Goch ridge to Snowdon.
Six years into our journey, it is as important as ever to keep our fundraising active. Though the public hearings are over and the module reports are being released to a steady schedule, it is important that we acknowledge there is a lot of work left before we can rest.
The module reports have been jumping off points that fall frustratingly short of the effectiveness that we need to ensure people are protected in the future. Covid 19 Bereaved Families for Justice UK needs to continue to make recommendations beyond those from the Module reports and continue to campaign to make those necessary changes a reality.
There are still years of work left to achieve that and to carry on for that long we will need funds to keep the lights on.
At the last minute, an opportunity to complete a hike along the Crib Goch ridge has arisen and despite my discomfort with heights I'm taking it along with two friends (Rich and Edd). Crib Goch is a narrow scramble to the peak of Snowdon with a sheer 900m drop on one side. It's a tough and dangerous climb, but if it was easy it wouldn't be a challenge!
Please support our cause.
