Aim

We’re raising money to plant trees and improve our local area.

After the incredible success of our fundraiser last year, All Things Good and Nice is back crowdfunding with All Things Trees 2025, our annual fundraiser to buy and plant trees across our local area of North East Lincolnshire.

More funding £££ = more trees🌳🌳 

Why trees? Well, that's a great question, and here are a few amazing reasons to get them planted....

🌳 Creating healthier, more connected communities through tree planting and local action to tackle climate risks.

🌳 Boost air quality and cool our streets – trees filter pollutants, produce oxygen and provide natural shade with no electric fan required.

🌳 Create wildlife corridors – every mature tree supports hundreds of insects, birds and small mammals.

Who are we, and what is our project about?

We are a small community group in North East Lincolnshire called All Things Good and Nice CIC.  Our work focuses on reconnecting people with nature through tree planting, community clean-ups in green and blue spaces, and engaging both adults and children in environmental education and guided walks in our beautiful countryside. We believe that small, meaningful actions can improve local environments and bring people together.

If supported this project hopes to build on the success of last year's tree planting work, where we partnered with our local authority, local groups, schools and members of the community to deliver a community-led greening project in one of our local parks.  With new funding, we aim to expand this work by planting more trees in suitable locations.  These trees will increase canopy cover, support urban cooling through transpiration, and help reduce flood risk by improving water absorption into the ground.  Community involvement in the planting and care of these trees not only builds local ownership but also helps ensure the long-term sustainability of the project.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are raising money to buy trees, stakes, and guards to plant in order to improve our local community in northeast Lincolnshire. All of our work is ensuring that people are connected with nature and take pride in our local environment. This funding will help us run tree planting events (like the one in the photo above), fostering pride in our local green spaces and community, connecting people back to nature. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

It's really simple, we raise money in order to improve our local green spaces.  We buy trees from a reputable tree nursery ensuring the right trees are in the right place by working with our council's environment team and arboriculturalist.  We plant all of our trees with double stakes, guards and hydration bags and we ensure they are maintained afterwards.  All money raised goes to buying trees, that's it, dead simple.

Share our project with friends, family and your wider network. The more people we reach, the more likely we are to succeed.
