There is no upper limit to what can be spent on 'Ross Revenge'. Our priority is very urgent hull and deck work. With extra funding we would be able to refurbish the ship further. We would like to see her engines run again and restore her to her former glory. We also plan to create an interactive visitor centre in the forepeak to show the fascinating broadcasting and fishing history of the vessel to schools, groups and individuals.
The PrizeThe prize in our very special Crowdfunder Draw is for a fabulous once in a lifetime, all-inclusive 14-night cruise for two people in the stunning Maldives on board the 'Yasawa Princess', including flights from a UK airport, all courtesy of RTC Travel.
The winners will be met at Male Airport and transferred from the airport to the 'Yasawa Princess', their home for the next two weeks, while they cruise the fabulous Central Atoll. All meals, all-day snacks, teas and coffees are included, as well as bar drinks*
If you fancy trying snorkelling or fishing in the crystal-clear waters, all the equipment is included, as well as transfers to the sandbanks and unspoilt uninhabited islands for a BBQ.
The prize is for two people sharing a cabin on the 'Yasawa Princes' and the cruise is to be taken between November 2024 and April 2025. Specific dates subject to availability but RTC Travel will try their best to book dates that suit the winners.
Return flights for two are from a UK airport to Male Airport, but overseas entrants are welcome. If not resident in the UK or able to fly from a UK airport, local flights can be booked and paid for direct with RTC Travel or winners can book their own flights.

‘Ross Revenge' is in urgent need of dry docking, where surveys and important maintenance can be carried out. Our prize draws will supplement our fundraising appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship for generations to come. The former pirate radio ship 'Ross Revenge' is still regularly broadcasting at sea today and more than 1,200 visitors tour the ship each year to experience a live broadcast and learn more about pirate radio and the ship's history. The vessel is an important part of both deep sea fishing and broadcasting history. To lose her would be a tragedy.
