Your dog won't be happy until it has a beanie!!
Henlo, it's Alfred. I'm an African pygmy hedgehog in case it's news for you. I'm somewhat famous on Instagram, within the international hedgehog circles at least. Just something to boast about. Keep reading.

My hogmom (a bit like 'soccer mom', but more extreme), let's call her Emmi, has been doing crochet for apparently 'years and a year' she won't shut up about it, proper martyr. So long in fact, that below is a pic of the first ever crochet she made when she was close to 8 years old. It was a mouse, originally with big beady eyes and nose, however her miniature schnauzer Lotta got a hold of it once and it's never quite recovered.

She's been to a few (just one) craft fairs which wasn't a 'great success', old news and water under the bridge, so now she can't be bothered leaving the house, which is why she's now doing all the selling from her laptop instead. Eventually she wants to open an online shop!

Now has to be said, she's not so talented that she would have come up with the designs herself, no-ooo way. She has designed some hats for hedgehogs, though, see the results here modelled by my late-brother-in-hog Hamish. He got a new hat for every birthday and Christmas. Doesn't he look happy about it. Guess I'll know what I'll be getting.

Recently Emmi finally listened to what all the doggos had been barking about, and started making them some beanies. "At last!", you may screech! Now is your chance to see to the needs of your dogs, too!
Hat sizes are mostly guess work, however, but there is a bit of stretch to the beanie. Below are Darcy, modeling the Christmas hat, and Otto modeling standard beanie, both wearing small size. Don't they look happy and cosy.

Lastly, Emmi would like to present the ready-made crafts and assorted animals she has already prepared. These below are available now and could be yours before Christmas! If they run out or you want a custom colour hippo or anything else that's not currently available or sells out, she obviously has to make them stitch by stitch and to avoid Repetitive Strain Injury and other excuses such as a full time job plus a casual job, delivery times may vary.
Also has to be said the photos below are for informational purposes: if someone has bought it before you had the chance, Emmi will make you another one. But it won't be exactly the same one.

How do I add the postage fee? Once you've selected the reward, there is the option of "Additional Donation". Add postage cost on there!

What is the material? Acrylic yarn. Very few limited items made from cotton yarn. Stuffing is new, synthetic material.
Are they for small kids? No. Only for humans who won't try to eat them. I use safety eyes however, but please don't let small babies eat or inhale these regardless. The products are quite robust however and will take some 'heavy petting'.
Do you post abroad? I can by special request, to Europe at least. Postage will vary, I think. Ask me another question.
Do I have to pay postage? No, you can collect from my house, or if you're dodgy from a public place in Edinburgh.
Who's designed the patterns? Various talented people! Hippo, rhino, elephant & all dino designs: HeidiBears. Hedgehogs & bunnies & guinea pigs: Kati Galusz. Assorted animals: Kerry Lord. Octopus: anonymous. Dino backpack: Maria Isabel. Most patterns are available to find & buy on Raverly.
