Raising money to enable Wales Senior Men to compete at the 2026 Hockey World Cup in Amsterdam.
Representing Wales has always been a huge honour for me, but as many of you will know, it currently comes with the reality of having to pay each year to compete as the team is only partially subsidised. Qualifying for the World Cup in Amsterdam also comes with a massive cost associated, so we are having to crowdfund to make sure we’re as best prepared as possible.
I’ve played for Wales throughout the junior age groups, and made my Senior debut back in 2017 against France. I have played at some major tournaments since, but with us having qualified for our 2nd ever World Cup, this summer offers the exciting opportunity to compete against the best teams in the world!
It feels a little uncomfortable asking for support, but we collectively decided to setup a CrowdFunder page to help with the costs. While representing Wales is an privilege, the financial commitment is significant and will be a real challenge to fund entirely on my own.
There is absolutely no expectation for anyone to donate, and I know times are tough for many people. But if you would like to support me on this journey, any contribution, no matter how small, would be genuinely appreciated and would help get the team one step closer to Amsterdam.
And if donating isn't possible, sharing the page would also be hugely appreciated. All money will go towards supporting the squad selected for the tournament in August.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me in my hockey journey so far, I feel incredibly fortunate to be in this position.
Thank you for being a part of our journey to the World Cup!
