Aim
Help Alex Muhumuza, local resident and community activist, fund his local election campaign as an independent candidate in Wood Street ward
Alex was raised in Wood Street and now wants to represent the ward on Waltham Forest Council. He has been volunteering and involved in community projects in Waltham Forest for over 10 years, and is passionate about bringing the community together.
Alex wants to inspire more young people and wider members of the area to engage in politics and community life, as well as to highlight that leadership spaces are for everyone.
Alex is exactly the sort of person we need to represent Wood Street residents in the council. But to make this a reality, Alex needs financial support to run his election campaign.
We don't have big donors, but we are asking local supporters to make a small donation up to £20 to help make Alex's campaign a reality.
No party politics. Just Wood Street.
