And not just any old shirt…
This classic Scotland 1990 World Cup shirt has been signed by the legend himself, Alex McLeish – a man who tackled so hard back in the day, he’d probably be forced to play rugby if he was playing now. No VAR, just vibes and flying elbows.
And let’s be honest – this shirt must be rare, because let’s face it… Scotland haven’t exactly been frequent flyers at the World Cup since. It’s practically a historical artefact.
But this isn’t just about football.
After losing my younger brother to suicide at the age of 27, I found real support through rugby – and especially at Sandbach Rugby Club. The friendships, community, and muddy pitches gave me somewhere to belong again. That’s why this fundraiser is so close to my heart.
We’re raising money for two brilliant causes:
💚 LooseHeadz – using rugby to tackle the stigma of mental health
🏉 Sandbach Rugby Club U12s – the future of the game, and expert-level gumshield-losers
This is all in memory of my brother, and a way to make something good out of the darkest of times. So let’s tackle the stigma together – the way Big Eck would’ve tackled a striker in the ’90s: full force and no messing.

On 1st October, all names will go into a random prize wheel, and we’ll share the draw video on Facebook, so you can see if luck’s on your side (and to prove I didn’t just give it to my uncle Dave).
