Alan Fowler was suddenly taken from us on the 3rd May. His life and passion was that of the outdoors. From the tops of mountains to the coastline, he would spend most of his life seeking adventure with his wife Kate in the outdoors.
But the place he was at home was in the Caledonian pine forest of Abernethy Nature Reserve. Alan and Kate tirelessly worked as volunteers to help conserve and expand the forest.
In Alan's memory, we are raising funds to help support this effort, so that his work may continue for generations to come. Any funds raised will go to RSPB Abernethy for projects agreed between the RSPB team and Kate and Alasdair Fowler.
