I have been given the honour of representing England at the upcoming World Indoor Lacrosse championship in September in Syracuse, USA and need your support to get there.
I have been named in the 23 man England squad that will be competing in the upcoming 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in September. The championships will be taking place in Syracuse, USA and will consist of 13 nations. In England lacrosse is an amature sport and while the English Lacrosse is a fantastic support, the costs of competing ultimately fall to each individual player. This includes flights, accommodation, food, kit, transport and training facilities. As you can imagine these costs add up to a small fortune!
I played lacrosse since I was 9 years old and it has become a massive part of my life. To compete on the world stage is the pinnacle of my lacrosse journey and a dream come true. This World Cup has even more prestige this year as it is the first ever international lacrosse tournament to be played on indeginous land. This means I will be playing some games on a Native American reserve. Being able to say I have played where lacrosse was created and where it is ingrained into native culture is an amazing honour and opportunity.
Please help me reach my goal and wear the three lions on my shirt with pride this September.
Any donation no matter how small will make a big difference!
Thank you.
Alan
