Aim
Renovate the Sports Hall at the Alan Higgs Centre to enhance the provision of Sporting Activities to the Local Community.

CV Life's vision and mission is to improve the quality of life for Coventry's communities through sport, culture, and education.
Why are we crowdfunding?
The Sports Hall at the Alan Higgs Centre is now over 20 years old, with the flooring reaching the end of its life. The sports hall is critical to the community for offering access to sporting activities, holiday activities for children, provision for educational use and other community events. With the funding raised, we hope to provide at least a further 20 years of this.
We have been granted some funding from Sport England to renovate the flooring at the Alan Higgs Centre. In order to access this funding, we must raise money through a Crowdfunder page, reaching a minimum target of £12,560.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money raised will be used to apply a brand new Bona Pure Pigmented System sports hall floor. This is a advanced type of flooring we are looking to install to provide a exceptional, long lasting sporting floor. With this, sporting markers will be Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Badminton, Futsal and Rollerderby. Any additional funding raised beyond our target will allow us to make better enhancements to the sports hall.
Community impact
Our sports hall hosts community clubs, such as Coventry Rollerderby and Central Galaxy Coventry Trampoline & Gymnastics Club. Along with this, our sports hall is open to the entire community for casual bookings, such as badminton, and hosts some charity events, such as boxing, throughout the year. Along with this, we host holiday activity programmes and HAF programmes, which are essential for offering childcare during the working week when schools are on breaks.
