In 2015 we started a business importing and distributing airsoft & milsim products. After winning contracts, we need to expand.

AIRSOFT - WHAT IS IT?

AIRSOFT ORIGINATED IN JAPAN IN THE EARLY 1980′S AS THE JAPANESE ANSWER TO THE AMERICAN CRAZE OF PAINTBALL. AIRSOFT HAS ADVANCED OVER THE YEARS IN BOTH TECHNOLOGY AND AS A SPORT, GRANTING HIGHER PERFORMANCE AND MORE REALISTIC CYCLING GUNS. THIS ALLOWED FOR GREATER REALISM IN PLAY AND IN TURN THE GAME WAS ABLE TO DEVELOP INTO THE TRUE IMMERSIVE COMBAT SPORT WE KNOW TODAY.ACROSS JAPAN, SOUTH EAST ASIA, NORTH AMERICA AND EUROPE THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS WHO PUT ON THEIR COMBAT GEAR, HEAVE ON THEIR WEBBING AND GRAB THEIR RIFLES EACH WEEKEND.

Company History:

In 2015 we started a business importing and distributing airsoft & milsim products.

Within the first three months, we identified that there was a valid gap in the market for another retailer operating with our business model buying from European wholesalers and retailing within the UK. This system was focused on 20% return on all sales to the general public.

During month four, we began talking directly to manufacturers. The benefits being less costs when buying in if done so in bulk. Exports have also become a core part of our business during this time, therefore warehousing and a technician were added to our service 

We now have several exclusive contracts with manufacturers offering national and international exclusivity to distribute and retail thier products. 

The scope on offer with these contracts in place is a turnover in the region of £200,000 (year one). Costs in the region of £150,000 and potential profit in the region of 50,000

The Issues:

To enable the business to build upon this sucess, we will need in the region of £10,000 to purchase the amount of stock required to meet our contract. The business will also require additional marketing, branding and other associated services.

The Benefits:

By taking on these contracts whilst maintaining our sensible profit margins, it will enable us to make the products more accessible within the UK and pass on the savings to the customers nationally and internationally.

Employment:

By taking on these contracts there is scope for three jobs to be created.
